sorry for the lack of updates - hella college ish going down.
It's good. "Gold Lion" hauls.
Some of you have been asking about Girl Talk. Basically I have had to put everything on hold until the Student Council decides what band they think is best -- this meeting is set to happen in the next few weeks. Tommy Goodwin usually throws some names out.
Please, please, TALK to your class reps and spread the album to anyone who wants it. Ultimately, it seems that if there is overwhelming student support for it, we will be able to put up the money, and find a way to cover the gap.

I'm going to be honest, I went to see the Rapture instead of Clipse at the Riottt Festival. That said, this album is wayyy better than the new Rapture crap.
My favorite Clipse tracks are still the three form the Neptunes "...Clones..." album. I am doaluping Clones right now, so be sure to check back, yall!

I hit us that nothing will ever happen if you, personally, aren't somewhat into the idea of making our lives. We know that you are super busy, but we like you, a lot, and that's worth something right?

I was arguing with myself whether or not to put this up. My initial recaction to this album was that it was the same old "hyper-literate" portland bull from the Decemberists; but, I'd be lying if I said it hasn't grown on me. Whoever requested it pushed me over the edge I guess.

Okay, today's album is pretty tight -- props to Ben Z. for bringing it to my attention.
Basically you are looking 42 minutes of pure violent mashup dominance.* It feels as if every hit of the past 4 years makes a refreshing, and somehow "new sounding" appearance. The listener is left asking him or herself "was that Young Jeezy over Phantom Planet?" and "is it OK that I think 'Juicy' sounds great paired with sped up Elton John?!"
So yea, give it a listen, in order, all the way through -- workable link
