Okay, today's album is pretty tight -- props to Ben Z. for bringing it to my attention.

Basically you are looking 42 minutes of pure violent mashup dominance.* It feels as if every hit of the past 4 years makes a refreshing, and somehow "new sounding" appearance. The listener is left asking him or herself "was that Young Jeezy over Phantom Planet?" and "is it OK that I think 'Juicy' sounds great paired with sped up Elton John?!"

* Everyone and their moms (aparently some 164 separate artists) are jammed into the 16 hard hitting and clean tracks. Here are some I jotted down: ludacris, david banner, that knuck if you buck shit, o-o child by the five stairsteps, the ying yang twins (vs. the verve's bittersweet symphony), nirvana, the notorious big, nas, madlib beats, that laffy taffy song, snoop, kayne, ti, jay-z, j dilla, manfred mann?!... etc.
