Jay Dee + Madlib = Jaylib. CS marries Dilla's soulful driving beats with Madlib's mathy cosmic perfection. The two of them compiled the album by sending tracks back and forth between LA and Detroit. This is one of my absolute favorite albums, and I hope you like it too.

I was lucky to catch Grizzly Bear live at the Great American Music Hall last Wednesday. The show was off the chain (I got a few recordings on my cell phone, will upload them soon). SF's Papercuts opened the show and they killed it. Above is their recently released album.
